We are Natalia and Ralph Long. I am English and Natalia is Russian, very handy for speaking to the locals, as their languages are similar.
Whilst holidaying in Croatia 7 years ago, we came by chance upon this charming area ot Tisno. We had been to Dubrovnik and Split but wanted to get out of the city and experience a quieter area with less tourism. We headed north and found exactly what we were looking for as we drove between Split and Zadar. A dramatic coastline interspersed with fishing villages built around lovely beaches and small marinas, which was a welcome relief from the noise of the main towns. What we had found was provincial Dalmatia, not much changed in centuries. The Adriatic the way it used to be.
We stumbled upon Tisno on the Isle of Murter and immediately fell in love with this ancient small town at the gateway to the Island and the stunning views of the many deserted Islands out at sea. After a few more visits we decided to buy a property there and have made it our holiday hideaway.
Natalia has since become a permanent resident and I still commute to the UK regularly for my work. We now have many Croatian friends, many of whom let their apartments for the annual summer festivals and Natalia (who speaks Croatian) has built a reputable business as an agent for festival apartments.
If you decide to spend your holiday in one of our properties we will be neighbours and would very much like to meet you. If we can be of any assistance to you for Airport runs, Taxis, currency exchange etc, you can easily contact us through this website and we are waiting to hear from you.
We hope that you enjoy the Tisno experience as much as we have.
